FOUNDED BY STEFANO MHANNA AS ARTISTIC AND MUSICAL DIRECTOR, THE NOVI TONI COMITES ORCHESTRA IS COMPOSED OF A VARIABLE NUMBER OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS, FROM 6 TO OVER 30 ELEMENTS, AND ACCORDING TO THE PROGRAM INCLUDES STRINGS, WINDS AND PERCUSSIONS.
From 2010, the year of its opening, it played concerts, ex multis, for the Musical Chapel of the Cathedral of Modena, for the Varrone Foundation, for the Lombardy-Russia Association as part of the provincial twinning 141-Expo Varese-Russia, for the Municipality of Rome and for other relevant public and private organizations. Its repertoire includes music by Bach, Barber, Beethoven, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Paganini, Puccini, Saint-Saens, Tartini, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and Vivaldi, for soloist, symphonic and chamber orchestra.
AMONG THE PLACES WHERE HE PLAYED, THERE IS THE “TEATRO NUOVO GIAN CARLO MENOTTI” OF SPOLETO, THE CATHEDRAL OF MODENA (UNESCO HERITAGE), THE SACRED SANCTUARY MONTE DI VARESE (UNESCO HERITAGE).
The Orchestra is the protagonist of the Festival “Classica Senza Limiti”, launched in 2018 under the patronage of prestigious institutions including the Representation in Italy of the European Commission and the Pontifical Council for Culture, and which currently takes place in its second edition.
IT PLAYS IN LAZIO, UMBRIA, LIGURIA, EMILIA ROMAGNA AND TUSCANY, IT ALSO COOPERATES WITH CHORUS AND SINGERS AND WITH STEFANO MHANNA IS INVOLVED IN INTERCONTINENTAL TOURNÉE.
